Former striker Troy Deeney believes Alejandro Garnacho should change careers if he wants to be a footballer and can’t handle the negative comments he receives.

The Argentina international has once again been the subject of controversy after failing to celebrate his goal against Leicester City, with fans telling him to “pass better” and “practise your first touch” while signing autographs before the game against PAOK, before he coldly replied: “Why don’t you go play yourself?”
Deeney, who previously defended Garnacho over the incident, has now hit out at United for not celebrating the goal.
“I said it before on Match of the Day and I’ll say it again, it means two things,” Deeney told talkSPORT.
“Firstly, it shows what players are like these days, their skin is so delicate that when someone says something they want to say, everyone gets upset immediately. And secondly, if he gets affect by that, which I would say to him as an older professional, ‘I don’t think this game is for you, bro.’
“Because you play for the biggest club in the world, if you play badly people will look at you, but if you play well people will look at you as well. You play for Man United, it’s call jealousy, it’s part of the game. So it’s disappointing UFABET he didn’t celebrate the goal, it was an incredible goal.”
“But this will be a turning point in his life, because if he can’t handle that from someone with an iPhone in their hand filming his face, I don’t think it’s a game for him.”
